My name is Kristi Howard and I am the proud owner of Hera's Essence LLC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 14 years of experience, and a newly Certified Health and Wellness Coach. I am very passionate about supporting women throughout all phases of pregnancy (Pre-conception, Pre & Postnatal).
The journey of pregnancy and motherhood varies from woman to woman. It can be the most amazing and rewarding time of your life but yet also the most trying and stressful. Planning and becoming pregnant, and then becoming a mom, can be very overwhelming and lonely. It can also be fun and exciting. This is all NORMAL!!!
After pregnancy losses, struggling to get pregnant and FINALLY having the opportunity to go through the UPS and DOWNS of motherhood, I became drawn to helping other women through their unique journey. As a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, I can support you during your Pre-Conception period. Since I am also a Clinical Social Worker, I can provide therapy during the Perinatal (Pregnancy - 1 year post natal) period.
Services Offered
Pre-Conception Health & Wellness Coaching: If you are considering pregnancy and want to be at your healthiest, Health Coaching might be for you! Accountability and Support with sessions focusing on Pre-Conception healthy habits, exercise, stress reduction, and nutrition. Sessions are held via telephone or virtual weekly, biweekly or monthly depending on your wants and needs. Please note that Health & Wellness Coaching is non-clinical, non-medical and does not take place of medical care.
Perinatal Therapy: Pregnancy and motherhood can be overwhelming, emotional, isolating and tough to navigate. You don’t have to go through it alone, I am here. I use a person centered, strengths-based approach to build a true partnership with clients. I provide a safe, nurturing, compassionate and judgement free space fostering growth and healing. I am here to listen, support, encourage and teach. We will work together to build a "toolkit" of helpful strategies to manage symptoms, stress, emotions, behaviors, relationships and life transitions. There is light at the end of the tunnel and you don’t have to get there by yourself.
